Excellent results very quickly
I developed trochanteric bursitis and felt stiffness in the hip area after having a hip replacement. My physio picked this up on a routine visit. I had never had this before. The exercises that would usually be recommended to help the condition were not allowed after a hip replacement. A steroid injection was also not recommended because of a small risk of causing infection in my replaced hip.
I was sceptical of a treatment that I hadn't heard of. I did some research and as it's non invasive and painless I had nothing to lose.
The shock wave treatment took about 15 minutes. It was fine apart from a slight discomfort when the treatment was given. I found I had more movement and less stiffness by the next day after treatment and I improved daily.
I have been able to return to doing the things that I was unable to do before the treatment because of less stiffness and pain around the hip.
I would very much recommend this treatment to others. My experience was good and I got excellent results very quickly.
